1. About us
EPIC Football Academy (“EPIC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is the trading name of EPIC SPORT TRAINING CO LLC (Dubai Trade Licence No. 1130613), a youth football academy operating across communities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: hello@epicfootballacademy.com.
2. Eligibility & parental authority
- Programs are open to children aged 4–14 (squads up to 18). The Parent confirms they are the legal guardian of the child and are authorised to enrol the child.
- The Parent confirms the child is medically fit to take part in football training and has disclosed in writing any medical condition, allergy, injury, or medication that could affect participation.
- The Parent authorises EPIC coaching staff to seek emergency medical treatment for the child if required and to act in the child’s best interests when a Parent cannot be reached.
3. Bookings, fees & payments
- Free Trial: one complimentary session per child. Attendance is subject to availability and coach approval.
- Fees are payable in advance of the term or package start date. A place in a Program is only guaranteed once payment is received in cleared funds.
- All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by UAE consumer protection law. Sessions missed by the child are not refunded.
- EPIC may adjust fees, schedules, coaches, venues and formats for operational reasons; equivalent value will be provided where reasonable.
4. Cancellations, weather & force majeure
- Sessions may be cancelled, shortened or moved indoors due to weather, air quality, venue availability, public holidays or events outside our reasonable control. Where possible we will reschedule or credit; no cash refunds are provided for weather cancellations.
- EPIC is not liable for any loss, expense or inconvenience caused by force majeure events (including but not limited to extreme weather, pandemic, government restrictions, or venue closure).
5. Code of conduct
- Players, parents and spectators must treat coaches, staff, opponents and facilities with respect at all times.
- EPIC may suspend or remove any child, without refund, whose conduct — or whose parent’s conduct — is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or persistently disruptive.
- Parents are responsible for dropping off and collecting their child on time. EPIC is not responsible for supervision outside scheduled session times.
6. Assumption of risk & liability waiver
The Parent acknowledges that football is a contact sport that involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to: physical contact with other players, balls or equipment; sprains, fractures, concussions and other injuries; risks associated with outdoor and indoor pitches; heat, humidity and dehydration; and interaction with other participants.
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, the Parent — on their own behalf and on behalf of the child and their heirs, executors, family members and assigns — freely and voluntarily assumes all such risks and waives, releases, discharges and agrees not to sue EPIC Football Academy, its owners, directors, employees, coaches, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, host venues and affiliates (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, damages, injuries, illness, loss or expense arising out of or in any way connected with the child’s participation in any Program, including where caused by the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.
The Parent further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim brought by the child or a third party in connection with the child’s participation, except to the extent such claim results from the Released Parties’ gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law (including for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence).
7. Insurance & personal property
- EPIC maintains public liability insurance for its operations. Parents are strongly encouraged to hold personal medical and accident insurance covering their child.
- EPIC is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, clothing, footwear, equipment or valuables brought to any session or venue.
8. Photography, video & media consent
Photographs and video may be taken during sessions, matches and events for coaching, safeguarding, marketing and social-media purposes. By enrolling, the Parent consents to such use unless a written opt-out is submitted to hello@epicfootballacademy.com. Children are never identified by full name or personal details.
9. Data protection & privacy
EPIC collects personal data (parent name, child name, age, contact details, medical notes) to operate the Programs, communicate with families and meet safeguarding obligations. Data is stored securely, is not sold to third parties, and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary. Parents may request access, correction or deletion by writing to hello@epicfootballacademy.com.
10. Safeguarding
All EPIC coaches hold recognised coaching, first aid and child safeguarding certifications. Any safeguarding concern should be raised immediately with the Academy Manager at hello@epicfootballacademy.com.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
12. Changes to these Terms
EPIC may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published at /terms. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
